All of HelpAge Canada’s national programs focus on improving the quality of life of older people who have social and economic barriers that often limit their active contribution to society. HelpAge Canada has developed programs with local partners throughout the world for over 45 years. From food and shelter to basic medical attention, we support older people where the need is the greatest.
Only 20% of older people in developing countries receive a retirement pension and millions of others have no reliable income at all.
