Stay Informed. Stay Connected.

HelpAge Canada prioritizes meaningful engagement with a growing network of community organizations, government and NGO collaborators, global partners, and purpose-driven sponsors and donors like you, who share our commitment to lasting impact and equity in ageing. Whether convening policy roundtables on Parliament Hill, coordinating CBSS consultations across every province and territory, or hosting international events at the United Nations, our efforts are grounded in impact and guided by the diverse communities we serve.

Through dynamic outreach, trusted relationships, and cross-sector collaboration, we drive dialogue, co-create innovative solutions, and help shape policy and practice to reflect the lived realities of older people. By amplifying community voices and fostering connection across geographies and generations, we’re focused on building a stronger CBSS sector in Canada and a more positive, inclusive approach to ageing, everywhere.

We welcome sponsors and supporters to join us. HelpAge Canada offers meaningful ways to engage locally, across Canada, and internationally, through collaboration, visibility, and impact. Together, we are building a more age-inclusive future, where all older people can lead secure, healthy, active, and dignified lives.

HelpAge Canada’s 50th Anniversary

February 4, 2026: Day on Parliament Hil

HelpAge Canada and the Elder Justice Coalition co-hosted Ageing on the Hill in Ottawa, on February 4, 2026, bringing national leaders, legal advocates, older adults, and community-based organizations to Parliament Hill to advance age-friendly policy and highlight urgent gaps in coercive control legislation.

Ageing on the Hill convened federal decision-makers for a full day of meetings with experts in ageing policy and elder justice, representatives from Community-Based Seniors Serving (CBSS) organizations and older adults.

Marking HelpAge Canada’s 50th anniversary, the day culminated in an evening reception where guests had the opportunity to celebrate our 50 years of Canadian and International impact, and gain hands-on perspectives with the University of Toronto’s Age Simulator Suit, an experiential tool that illustrates the realities of physical ageing and promotes empathy-driven policy design.
