Communications Manager (Parental Leave Coverage)
This is a twelve-month parental leave coverage position, with opportunity for extension.
As the Communications Manager at HelpAge Canada (HAC), you will have the opportunity to contribute to significant transformative efforts aimed at fostering a more age-inclusive society both in Canada and globally. In this capacity, the selected candidate will implement a comprehensive communications strategy that encompasses the development and promotion of the organization’s flagship programs, collaboration with community partners and stakeholders in the advancement of the Canadian community-based seniors’ services (CBSS) sector, promotion of humanitarian campaigns tailored to the unique needs of older adults, dissemination of impactful narratives from older people and their communities, and fundraising initiatives to support all activities. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and collaborates closely with all team members.
