HelpAge Canada warmly welcomes Lindsay Cox, MHA,PMP to our team as Senior Advisor, Engagement and Strategic Initiatives. In this new role, Lindsay will lead key sector projects and initiatives that support our strategic priorities and strengthen the community-based seniors’ services (CBSS) sector across Canada. Her work will focus on engagement, coalition-building, advancing policy and innovative models that support older adults in their communities.

Lindsay brings over 12 years of experience working with older adults and the CBSS sector, driving innovation across health, community care, and housing. She is recognized for building strategic partnerships, leading large-scale initiatives, and scaling mission-driven solutions with measurable impact. In her role, she will collaborate closely with older adults, senior-serving organizations, government stakeholders, and new sector partners.

Her early work providing direct support to older adults and their caregivers inspired a lifelong commitment to strengthening the community-based seniors’ sector and enhancing the health and well-being of older adults. Since then, Lindsay has championed programs and cross-sector collaborations that bridge critical gaps in health, community care, and housing access.

As a former Director at SE Health, she led strategic initiatives and cultivated partnerships to expand inclusive, affordable housing for underserved communities. As a founding member of GeriMedRisk, she directed engagement efforts to scale the organization, expanding access to geriatric specialist expertise across Ontario and advancing system collaboration and capacity-building initiatives to support clinicians caring for older adults.

Lindsay is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)® and holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Regina, a Gerontology Certificate from Laurentian University, and a Psychology degree from the University of Guelph. An active leader and community advocate, she also serves on the Board of Directors for CANES Community Care.

We are delighted to welcome Lindsay Cox to the HelpAge Canada team and share in her commitment to advancing our mission through collaboration and collective impact.

HelpAge Canada is the only national Canadian registered charity and international NGO focused on partnering with local communities to improve the lives of older people in Canada and around the world.
