Mariyakutty is a 77 year old woman who grew up in the Franciscan Convent and then served there for forty years. Mariyakutty’s faith continues to be an importantpart of her life. Every morning she attends holy Mass in the chapel near her room, and she fills much of the rest of her day in prayer.

Aley is a 72 year-old woman who never married and has no children. She is a pleasant, friendly woman, who enjoys the company of the other Grans and cheers them with her jovial mood.
