Haiti Earthquake Response

Haiti is "on its knees", says Prime Minister Ariel Henry, following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on August 14th, followed by Hurricane Grace.

The elders in our Sponsor A Grandparent Program in Haiti have suffered severe damage to their homes including flooding. Many are living in tents because their homes have become unsafe. Our partners are providing necessities as they are able but need our help to repair and rebuild their homes.

Please help these elders with a gift today.

UPDATES FROM OUR SPONSOR A GRANDPARENT PROGRAM CARING ORGANIZATIONS:

"...we all are safe with no injuries. But our biggest worry at the moment is the facility where our grandparents live has become unsafe. The building needs to be repaired and we do not have the funds to do so."
~ Roshan Ekka, Le Bon Samaritain, De Ouanaminthe

"The Grans are now living in tents because of fear that our building will collapse.”
~ Yolène R. Leonard, Conference St. Vincent De Paul Society, Les Cayes

"No one was hurt at the Foyer. All of the Grandparents were moved to the chapel building where they are safe. Our staff is working around the clock to care for all the elders."
~ Fr. Fred, Foyer St. Etienne, Les Cayes
